Tagaytay is the classic weekend escape from Metro Manila: cool weather, Taal views, bulalo and coffee everywhere. It’s also one of the easiest places in the Philippines to bring your dog. A growing number of hotels, B&Bs and private villas now welcome pets, but the rules vary a lot. Some charge nothing, some charge ₱3,000 a night, and many only accept small dogs.
We checked the pet policy of each stay below in October 2026, using the hotels’ official websites and Facebook pages, booking listings and guest reviews. Here’s where you can stay with your fur baby, what it costs, and what to pack.

Tips for bringing your dog to Tagaytay
- Get the pet policy in writing. A screenshot of the hotel’s reply about fees and rules saves arguments at check-in.
- Book the pet room early. Most hotels only have a few pet-friendly rooms, and they go fast on weekends and holidays.
- Bring the vaccination card. Some hotels ask for proof of vaccination, usually within the past year.
- Pack diapers or belly bands. Several hotels require them in lobbies and other common areas.
- Expect a deposit. Many hotels hold a refundable deposit on top of the pet fee, so bring extra cash or a card.
- Don’t leave your pet alone in the room. Many hotels don’t allow it, and an anxious dog in a new place can bark or chew.
- Pack for the cold. Tagaytay nights can get chilly, especially from November to February. Bring your dog’s blanket or a sweater for short-haired breeds.
- Plan stops on the drive. Weekend traffic up Aguinaldo Highway can be heavy, so bring water and plan a potty break.

Sources disagree for Crosswinds Resort Suites and F8 Bed & Breakfast: one source lists them as pet-friendly and another doesn’t. Message the property and get the pet policy in writing before you pay.
