A beach day is even better with your dog, but beach resort pet rules vary a lot: some stay open to pets for a fee, some only allow day visits, and a few don’t allow pets at all. This guide compares the pet policies of beach resorts and hotels near Manila that are listed on FluffyTrips, from Batangas and Subic to Zambales, with a longer-weekend pick in Baler.
How we check: policies below come from each resort’s own website and social pages first, cross-checked with other published sources, and were last checked in October 2026. Where we couldn’t find a published policy, we say so. Fees and rules change often, so always confirm with the resort and get the pet policy in writing before you pay.
Batangas: Laiya, Calatagan, Matabungkay, Lobo and Anilao
Acuaverde Beach Resort, Laiya
Acuaverde has a Pet Corner, pet care packages and a pet menu. The resort also has a pet welcome kit and designated play areas. Recent listings put the pet fee at about ₱1,200 per pet, and pet-friendly rooms are limited and may be capped by number and size, so book early and ask which beach areas and restaurants allow pets.
Sabangan Beach Resort, Laiya
Pets are accepted in designated accommodation. Dogs and cats of all sizes are welcome. Tell the resort your pets’ number, size and breed when you book.
Cocoons (at Club Laiya), Laiya
Landco allows dogs and cats up to 20 lbs (about 9 kg) and no taller than 0.8 m, at ₱1,500 per pet for the whole stay (₱800 per pet for day tours). Only one pet is allowed per Cocoon.
Cala Laiya, Laiya
Cala Laiya publishes one of the most detailed pet policies in Batangas. It accepts small and medium dogs and cats up to 20 kg each, with a maximum of 2 pets per casita and 6 pets in the whole resort per day, so book early. Large breeds (including Labradors, retrievers, German Shepherds, Huskies and Pitbulls) and reptiles aren’t allowed. The fee is ₱1,500 per pet per night, plus a ₱1,000 charge if you don’t clean up after your pet. Pets must be leashed or kenneled in public areas and aren’t allowed in the pool, on dining tables or on resort linens. Read the full pet policy before booking.
Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort, Calatagan
Stilts welcomes well-behaved pets with responsible owners. Pets must be leashed and supervised, and you’re expected to clean up after them. Overnight guests should bring a pet bed, enclosure or mat, since pets aren’t allowed on beds or cottage furniture. Day-tour and overnight rules can differ, so say which you’re booking. Dogs and cats (up to 2 per group or room) stay free, and they must wear diapers, even at the beach.
Stardust Beach Hotel, Matabungkay (Lian)
Pets are allowed for ₱500 per pet per stay, with no limit on number, size or breed listed. Confirm the details with the hotel, since a policy that open-ended often has conditions.
Cerca Parola Beach Resort by Cocotel, Lobo
Dogs and cats are allowed for a small nightly fee of ₱150 to ₱250 per pet, depending on where you book. Some listings limit stays to one pet up to about 6 kg, so confirm when booking. It’s one of the cheaper beach options on this list.
The Asri Dive and Leisure Resort, Anilao (Mabini)
Pets are allowed upon request at this Anilao dive resort. Give advance notice or call ahead before booking, since additional charges or pet fees may apply depending on your booking or room type.
Virgin Beach Resort, Laiya
Well-behaved dogs up to about 13 kg (30 lbs) are welcome, up to 2 per room, with a ₱750 per pet per night sanitation fee. Bring your dog’s vaccination record and food and water bowls, and sign the pet policy agreement at check-in.
Oceanarra Beach Hotel and Resort, San Luis
Dogs and cats are welcome, and the resort promotes no size or breed limits. Ask how many pets are allowed per room when booking.
Crusoe Cabins, Calatagan
Landco’s pet policy applies here too: dogs and cats up to about 9 kg and 0.8 m tall, ₱1,500 per pet for the whole stay, and up to 2 pets per cabin. Keep pets leashed and clean up after them.
Cocoons (at CaSoBē), Calatagan
Same Landco rules as Crusoe Cabins, with only one pet allowed per Cocoon.
Casa Astillero Beach Resort, Calatagan
Pets are welcome at no extra charge, and guests say the staff are used to guests with dogs.
The Philip Ann Resort, Mabini
Pets can stay in your room, but all pets must be vaccinated, including against rabies. Ask about any pet fee when booking.
Pacifico Azul DIVE Resort, Mabini
Pets are welcome in some of the villas, so ask which ones accept pets when booking.
Searendipity Diving Resort, Mabini
This Anilao dive resort calls itself pet-friendly, so you don’t have to leave your dog behind on a dive trip.
Villa MJ Maristela Beach Resort, Lemery
Dogs and cats are welcome. Some listings mention a refundable pet deposit, so ask when booking.
Villa Antonio Matabungkay, Matabungkay
A private resort rented to one group at a time, and it welcomes pets.
Subic and Olongapo
Whiterock Beach Hotel & Waterpark
Dogs and cats are allowed for ₱1,900 per pet per night. Pets must be supervised at all times, and some restrictions apply. The listing doesn’t say which areas pets can access, so ask whether they’re allowed on the beach and around the waterpark.
Ibis Styles Subic
Pets are allowed for ₱1,500 per pet (the charge may vary by length of stay). Only dogs and cats are allowed, two in total, up to 7 kg each, with restrictions. This is a hotel stay rather than a beachfront resort, but it’s a good base for Subic.
Aplaya del Subic – Capati Resort
Pets are allowed, but no fee or limits are published. Call the resort to confirm the fee, size limits and where pets can go.
A longer weekend: Baler, Aurora
Baler is farther out but popular with dog owners. Fuego – Costa Pacifica (formerly Costa Pacifica) welcomes cats and dogs at no extra charge, requires a leash on the property and a vaccination or medical certificate, and offers pet-friendly seating at its restaurant. Pets aren’t allowed to swim in the pool. L’Sirene Boutique Resort welcomes dogs for ₱1,000 per pet per night. Pets can’t be left alone in the room, and the restaurant even has dog food on the menu.

Tips for a beach trip with your dog
- Ask about the beach itself. Many resorts allow pets in rooms but restrict them from pools, restaurants or the beachfront.
- Bring shade and fresh water. Sand gets hot fast, so walk in the early morning or late afternoon.
- Rinse your dog after swimming. Salt and sand can irritate skin and paws.
- Pack vaccination records, a leash, a bed and waste bags. Many resorts require them, and some require your own pet bed.
- Book pet rooms early. Many resorts only allow pets in specific rooms.
